Jiangsu Suzhong Battery Technology Development Co., Ltd., invested and established by Hong Kong Suzhong Group, is located in the new district of Jiangsu Rudong Economic Development Zone. The company covers an area of 240,000 sqm, with a floor area of 120,000 sqm and a total investment of 600 million yuan. It is included in the list of state key high-tech industries, and has won such honors as China Famous Brand, Jiangsu Famous Brand, and Jiangsu Famous Brand Products.
The company's R&D center has independently developed more than 100 patents and scientific research results, of which 26 lead-acid battery technologies have been appraised and approved by national, provincial and ministerial departments, and 30+ have won international and Chinese awards. Adopting American and German advanced technology and polysilane patented technology (patent No. ZL201110231777.5), automated digital production equipment, the company specializes in the production of batteries for electric vehicles, solar energy storage batteries, wind power storage batteries, NEV batteries, and batteries for agricultural vehicles and motorcycles, etc., performance of all products reaching the advanced level of the industry. Among them, Suzhong’s unique polysilane high-energy maintenance-free EV battery is an upgraded product compared to ordinary lead-acid batteries and gel batteries. It features large capacity, low self-discharge, high specific energy and longer service life, thereby ensuring the interests of consumers.
In August 2012, Hong Kong Suzhong Group and Shanghai Haibao Special Power Co., Ltd. allied to share resources. After the integration, Suzhong’s technology, equipment, scale and brand influence have been upgraded comprehensively. In April 2013, Suzhong Battery was included into the list of the first 10 companies that passed the environmental protection inspection run by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, among 1,300 similar companies across China. In November 2013, it further passed the MIIT's Lead Storage Battery Industry Access Conditions audit as one of the six among the aforementioned 10 companies that passed the environmental protection inspection. Suzhong Battery has been at the forefront to lead the development of the industry, and is gaining huge momentum to build a giant carrier in China's battery industry.
